“The work is about the transformation of the mundane into a fantastical experience. The cable tie installation involved the process of weaving them together on a large scale so that the original function was removed. They have a new meaning. They are shown as an installation that encourages the viewer to walk amongst them and explore them as a multi-sensory experience. The work is ambiguous, so the tactile element of the work helps the viewer to understand them more and to apply their own narrative..”
