“I’m a philosophy student with a keen interest in aesthetics and the history and development of photography, especially the surrealist movement following from the work of early pioneers like Eugène Atget.
I have nurtured a particular strong attachment to photography depicting scenes of decadence, discontent, and abandonment, however I have a very broad-minded and experimental attitude to my own creations. As a result, the plenitude of seedy, backstreet scenes in my work are offset by my frequent forays into ‘light graffiti’ – creating an image in a long exposure by manually introducing lightsources.
I am constantly working with modern techniques like this to produce as varied a portfolio as possible, whilst maintaining the theme of the darker side of humanity.”

I love the silhouette of Tachbrook, it really captures that dawn/dusk feeling.
