“As far back as I can remember I’ve always wanted to be a graphic artist. I guess most people stopped drawing soon after they left primary school, for some reason I couldn’t. It got to the point where drawing pictures of the X-Men was no longer really acceptable for any self respecting teenager and as my taste in music spread further into hip-hop I got more and more into the underground art scenes that were springing up in London, Paris and L.A. and attempting to emulate the artists that I grew to love. Guys like Blek le Rat, Mark Huddlestone, Dave Crosland and Jeremy Fish were all massive influences and inspired that impromptu and free flowing premise that i tried to get across in these pieces. I think it’s best not to over plan anything like this, I tend to find that I get the best results from just drawing and not really thinking about it too much. I hope that feeling comes across in my art, at the end of the day that’s all I can really hope for.”
